PROTEX PTS is a textured vegetable protein with high quality, and high nutritive value, obtained from defatted soybean meal by thermoplastic extrusion.
PROTEX PTS is used in bakeries and pastry shops, in pasta and bread stuffed with meats and was specially developed to be applied as extender of meat or as a source of protein, keeping the texture, aspect and flavor of food where it is used. – In powder form for fine mass (sausages, etc); – In granulate form for products medium and large crushed (hamburgers, meat ball, etc).

In the rehydration, PROTEX PTS is able to absorb and retain, at least, 3 times its weight in water.

PROTEX PTS is packaged in a multi wall Kraft paper bag, internally covered by a polyethylene bag, with 20kg, 25kg or 30 kg net weight, depending on grain size.
PROTEX PTS shall be stocked in its original package, on pallets in a dry and fresh place, free of insects and rodents. Keep the package closed in a correct way while it is not in use.
